Epoch Church (4/5)

“Dakota and I were able to become a part of Epoch Church during a very exciting yet challenging part of our lives. I started working there in August, just two weeks after we got married. So being newlyweds and finding a church that really loved us and wanted to get to know us better was awesome. Epoch was so welcoming and excited for us as we started our lives together. But in October, we found out that my dad had cancer, specifically Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. To see my dad go through something like this has been rough. While Dakota and I didn’t make it super public at Epoch, Grant and Nathan and several of the moms that work in the preschool area knew about it. They constantly asked how my dad was and I know they were genuinely praying for him. My dad is fighting hard and is almost done with his treatment. Praise God! I honestly don’t think I could have gotten through watching him suffer if it wasn’t for the members of Epoch and their prayers. They have been there for Dakota and I in the good times and the hard times since we have been there! I am so thankful to work at Epoch, and Dakota and I are so thankful to call it home.”
